I'm not sure about the townland of this well. It's not marked on the OS map, but is signposted at the side of the road just south of Newcastle West.
The well is very well maintained - too well maintained in fact is over landscaped in my oppinion. My main reason for stopping was that I always stop at wells dedicated to St. Brigit, just in case there's a bullaun stone, but there's not one here.
Head south along the N21 towards Abbyfeale from Newcastle West. The well is signposted on the right outside Newcastle West just past the last bungalow.
