If this stone stood in the middle of a forsaken, blasted heath it would be superb. Sadly it stands at the side of a non-descript country lane.
The stone itself is a beauty though. Standing just 1.4m tall it tapers to rounded point rather like a huge stone spearhead. The stone is a lovely red colour and contrasts heavily with the grey of the local stone.
