This round tower is quite ruined, but its north facing, round-topped door still exists 4m from the ground. The highest part of the remains, above the doorway, reach perhaps 15m. The rear of the tower only just comes to the height of the door.
The information sign about the church is very worn and being high up on the nearby church wall not very informative. The site dates to around 1000 CE and was founded by St. Benan.
