This well is surrounded by a 2m high wall and stands just 10m from an alledged sweathouse ( Creevaghbaun (County Galway)). The well is circular with the water just below ground level and full of water weed. The wall has an entrance to the east and a bench or shlef going around its inner face.
Opposite the entrance is a slab with a worn effigy and an unreadable inscription.
