This site is clearly signposted from the road west of Lauragh. The 4km drive up the valley is beautiful. All the way you are wanting the circle to come into view, but it doesn't until the very last moment.
I was staggered to see a modern bungalow built just 10m from the circle. Who gives planning permission out? I would also like to know who paid for the roadsigns to the circle and if the people who live in the bungalow are supposed to be charging €2 to unsuspecting visitors. Personally I just took a couple of photos from the gate (the circle is just 30m inside the field) and drove off disgusted. I don't mind giving a landowner some money to cover out of pocket expenses if they've installed gates, stiles or paths, but here I could see nothing to warrant charging to get a little closer. The fairly poor state of the circle certainly disqualifies it from being a chargable attraction, so I suggest everyone goes there and takes a photo over the fence, just to show them we aren't going to be taken advantage of.
All of the above is rather unfortunate, because this is an amazing location. The valley is partially obscured from the circle by large rocky outcrops and the valley walls shoot up above the circle.
Three and a half stones still stand 1.4m tall and another tall stone, about 2m tall, is either one of the portal stones or an outlier.
