I visited this site purely because I saw the signpost and thought there may have been a chance of a bullaun stone, but there wasn't one. The site was a medieval hostel with bits dating from the 13th Century.
The OS map states that there is a cross here as well as the church, but I couldn't find it until I was just leaving. It is very slender, over 8 feet tall and blends in with all the more modern gravestones. The arms are very short and the top of the cross has been broken off. The east face does carry some carving, but this is too worn to make out properly: it would seem to be some knotwork.
