Visit Notes

Sunday, 26th October 2003

This is marked as an old graveyard, but looking into the many rabbit holes you can see that it is probably a cairn that has been Christianised.

On top of the mound are two crosses, one is large (2m high) with a solid wheel and the other is very small with a high relief crucifixion on it. The latter has lost its arms, but there is a trefoil design above the carving.

There were no traces of the holed stone reported to have been on this site.
