Visit Notes

Sunday, 12th October 2003

I nealy walked right passed this one on my way to Altoir Ultach (County Clare). It is not very easy to see, especially when you are focusing on the prominent stones of the monument just a few feet away.

This tomb is now just an outline formed by the stones that define its gallery, which are now almost completely buried with in the peat. It is about 1.4m wide and 5m long.
