Visit Notes

Sunday, 20th July 2003

Amazingly enough this is the only site marked on the OS map in this very busy townland!

The stone stands at the top of a steep bank (almost a cliff) and does it quite proudly. After the joys of the portal tombs nearby, walking over to this stone seemed like it would be an anti-climax and so I will visit it properly when I return to find the other two portal tombs in Ballyvennaght.
