This is a lovely 2m tall mudstone monolith and it is all smooth, but nobbly and fissured at the same time. It occupies a spot on the top of a low hill and is totally over shadowed by the beautiful sleeping-beauty-like form of Agnew's Hill to the south.

Situated on this summit the stone could be a boundary marker, but it's relationship with the Hill is quite overwhelming. If you're driving through this part of Ireland, which is utterly mind-blowingly beautiful, then stopping here and walking the 100m from the road to this spot is a must-do thing. Once again you are reminded that some folks ertianly knew how to pick a spot!
