Beware! This nice stone is not where the map says it is. The map marks a little pool 200m up the track, presumably the holy well, but the ogham stone is much nearer the road, just behind the abandoned farmhouse.
The stone is square in section and about 1.3m tall, but it stands on a rock outcrop, which makes it appear taller. The ogham inscription runs down the SW edge and is in good condition. Someone has places a little quartz pebble on the top of it.
