Visit Notes

Sunday, 15th June 2003

The stroll from the gates along the very old sunken trackway, through the well-kept graveyard, past the church ruins is a delight! The three wells here, though, are not so nice. I think someone must have had shares in the local cement company.

Each of the wells (Brigit's, xxx & Jesus') are surrounded by an apron of cement and a fence.

I was disappointed not to find a bullaun at a site called "St. Brigit's Wells".
