Apparently, this site is protected by law. However, as with so many of these national treasures they are only protected from damage by man. Damage by nature doesn't enter into it, so they are neglected and left to become overgrown. Eventually, this wonderfull monument will fall despite its concrete legs, unless more is done to see that it is kept clear.
