The Well Of The White Cow Holy Well ::

I don't think this fence imposes too much on the site, and it's good to see that the well as been made accessible once more.

Miscellanea

The names of this well are:

1) Caprach-Cormaic - Cormac's Well
2) Liagh - The Physician
3) Tipra-bo-finne - Well Of The White Cow
4) Deare-dubhe - The Dark Eye

This could also be the well called - "Poll tocair na tuiliche" which was used for trial by ordeal. The person under inquisition would enter the water and if guilty would emerge with a black spot upon their body; the innocent would come out of the water 'fairer then ever'.
