I was informed on Sept 7th 2003 that the key to the Southern Chamber is no longer given out to the public.

2.8 Km (W) there is a Passage Tomb at Boyne Valley known as
Knowth.
8.9 Km (NNE) there is a Chambered Cairn at
Fieldstown (Co. Louth).
6.3 Km (WNW) there is a Motte at
Hill Of Slane.
8.5 Km (NNE) there is a Round Tower at
Monasterboice (Co. Louth).
A great site specialising in the megalithic passage tombs of Newgrange, Knowth, Dowth, Fourknocks, Loughcrew and Tara.
