Hi Tom, Visited Loughcrew last week, wonderful place.
The standing stone that was in the field leading to Carnbane West is gone now..saw a fresh scar in the field..think the stone was removed recently. Probably by the unfriendly farmer who chases hikers away with his tractor!

Visited Harristown, Passage Tomb, Waterford today.
High on a hillside with a bracing spring breeze and spectacular views on every side.

Well preserved and worth the walk up.

Hi Tom
Just to say great site. The google maps are great and I've used many of your descriptions to find sites myself.
Great work!

thanks for a wonderful site! I saw your interview on "nationwide" and was very interested. I am studying Archaeology in Cork and love stone circles and standing stones. theres a wonderful standing stone in East Cork and worth looking at. I have some wonderful photos if you want to get back to me.

I saw the feature on RTE's "Nationwide" a couple of days ago and thought I'd have a look at your wonderful site. Although currently based in Longford I spend a lot of time in West Cork and I'm familiar with some of the sites there. Many people know Drombeg but the circles at Lettergorman N & S and in particular Reenascreena are far more interesting in my opinion. Thanks for giving them favourable mentions and please keep up the good work.
