Carrowkiller

What an amazing day! I decided, with the weather being so fantastic, that I'd concentrate on one place and get some vistas in the process. Carrowkeel seemed an obvious choice! Especially as I'd only ever been there in poor visibility conditions.

Each time I've been there so far I've only seen (and re-seen) very limited parts. I've always been rushing off somewhere else afterwards - well, not this time! The whole day was devoted to wandering around and I still didn't get to see everything I had wanted to.

I think that this day out ranks at the top of the list with some of the mad Cork trips and other rambles across hills and moutains. I saw a grand total of 9 people all day, two of them in the afternoon and the others as I was leaving. To have a whole mountain to yourself is something else!
